I love movies, I love reading about movie news. From time to time I may even link to a story at Ain't It Cool News or other similar sites.

What has me bothered though, is that sites like this that started out for the average movie goer, have turned into frame by frame analysis of the film. While there is nothing wrong with that, I find that most people just want to find out if they will enjoy the movie. I love to go to a movie, get lost in the story, spend a couple hours away from the trials of everyday life. I'm not there to nitpick every single aspect of the film.

My goal is to tell you simply what I thought of a movie, and why, and what group of movie goers I think will enjoy the film.

I will backtrack a little, and review some movies I have seen this summer. Super 8, Hangover 2, Green Lantern, Pirates 4, X-Men First Class.
